Praise Report! 24 Hours of Prayer for Penrith
A Powerful Demonstration of Unity
Hi ,
On the 1st of March, we witnessed a beautiful display of unity at the recent "Penrith City Prayer" retreat - a 24-hour event where Pastors and leaders from across our city came together.
It was a true gathering, with many people uniting together including Catholic, Pentecostal, Baptist, Church of Christ, alongside business leaders - all with a shared purpose.
Shoulder to shoulder, we repented, prayed, and cried out for our city. Our focus encompassed the Alpha program, the well-being of our youth, the strengthening of churches and pastors, the vital work of care agencies, and the mental health of our community.
This powerful time of unity was a testament to the Holy Spirit's work in our midst, reminding us that we are stronger together as the body of Christ in Penrith.

Whether you're new to Alpha or looking to deepen your understanding, these courses offer valuable tools for spreading the Gospel and fostering a thriving faith culture.

Whether you're a seasoned leader or just feeling the call, this course will equip you with the tools and confidence to run Alpha within your church, workplace, or even your friend group. Join Our "The Marriage Course" at Highway Church!
Building a strong and fulfilling marriage takes work, but it's a beautiful journey worth taking together. Here at Highway Church, we're passionate about equipping couples with the tools they need to thrive. That's why we're excited to offer "The Marriage Course" this Term 2, open to couples in all stages of marriage, even those already experiencing a healthy relationship.
“At Highway, we are committed to assisting people thrive in their marriages and parenting. We are eager to run The Marriage Course at our church during Term 2 and are seeking expressions of interest from couples who are keen to do this course. This is a course even for the couples who are enjoying the healthiest season of marriage or not yet married and everyone in between.
The Marriage Course is a 7 week course. Each session begins with couples eating together. We then watch an episode which is around 45 minutes in length, with breaks for conversations. The session closes with couples having private and intimate conversations. Over the seven weeks we will explore:
1. Strengthening Connection: 17th May
2. The Art of Communication: 24th May
3. Resolving Conflict: 31st May
4. The Power of Forgiveness: 7th June
5. The Impact of Family: 14th June
6. Good Sex: 21st June
7. Love in Action: 28th June

Cost: 50$ for the entire course per couple.
